Fun at Grandma's House

We are just a little behind on this here blog.... there have been many complaints....
We are going to try and catch up in the next couple of days. There is lots of fun to come... Brian's wedding, Samuel's Birthday, Samuel learning to walk, Samuel starting to talk (a little), getting our family pictures done, and lots of others.

But first we are going to talk about the great time we had at Grandma's this past weekend. We went up to Logan for a barbecue. While we were there we got to go to summerfest, celebrate Father's Day, and have some lazy time in Grandma's backyard. We are glad that Brian & Bonnie, Lisa & Michael, and my parents could join us for the fun!

My parents have an amazing backyard. Here are few photos from last summer. This is later in the summer when all the flowers have filled out the gardens more.

My mom's fun flower pots on the fence and her outhouse. The flower pots are actually antique lamb feeders.

The antique rake and it's garden. If you look behind the rake you can kind of see the ponds in the background.

Another garden with the creek running into the pond behind it.

The shed and where the creek runs into the backyard. My parents have built a little waterfall here so there is always the sound of running water.

The deck on the back of the house. As you can see this backyard is such a fun place to play!

Steven had a great time helping water Grandma's flowers and vegetables, and helping feed the ducks, chickens, and birds.

Samuel loved helping grandpa back in the trailer, running around Grandma's huge lawn and following the ducks across the yard.

Both boys had fun swinging in Grandma's swing, running through the sprinkler, and dipping their toes in the creek.
Thanks Mom for letting us crash at your house for the weekend even if you weren't there for most of it. We are excited to come again!
