On the 18th Of October Steven's Preschool had another field trip that we got to tag along on! This time it was at Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. Cornbelly's is a fun fall festival type of thing with a corn maze, pumpkin patch and all sorts of other fun fall things! The boys had a BLAST!!!!! Since we went with Stevie's school class, we got to go in the morning when it wasn't open to the public, so there were a few less people. The boys went in the smaller corn maze for kids, then they rested on this fun cow bench:
They got to run around in this fun little hay maze...
One of their favorites was this "Corn Snake". It was a tunnel made of corn stalks that winded around and came back out behind the mouth.
Here they are inside the Corn Snake.
They had a hay ride there and the line was like 45 minutes long! I was going to skip it, but the boys really wanted to go, so we broke out the snacks and water to help kill the time and waited.
It turned out to be worth the wait, because the boys LOVED every second of it, and they were talking about it and playing "hay rides" for weeks.
They had these big wooden play equipment things scattered all over the grounds. The boys loved them all and played on them for hours. It worked out best to let them play on them for the last couple of hours before we had to leave, so there were less kids.
Sam on one of the slides...
Sam on a swing. I still can't get Steven to sit on a big boy swing very often (he prefers the baby swings) much less lean way back like this! Sam thought it was great!
Another big wooden truck
They have a couple of big jumping pillows that the kids could jump on. They had a lot of fun, but the bigger one made Steven a little nervous because it was kind of tall.
Stevie jumping high!
We got a great pic in the big rocking chair!
Here are a couple of videos of the boys on the jumping pillows:
