Bassett Reunion 2010

 Our Family Reunion for the Bassett (my mom's) side of the family was the weekend of July 24th. We love to go and be able to spend time with family that we don't see very often. We went to Copenhagen Basin up in Idaho. When we camp there, we pretty much just camp in the trees just off of the where the snow-mobilers  park their trailers in the winter.  There is always lots of 4-wheeler riding, campfires, and yummy food. Here are a few of my favorite pics:

We put pigtails in the little girl cousin's hair one morning and Sam wanted in on it. That scrape on his forhead was from when he tripped and biffed it. It happened several times, but this was the time he caught himself with his face...  He was still getting the walking thing down...

Steven took Kiera for a ride in the doll stroller. There were a couple of doll strollers that were fought over all weekend.

My mom was in charge this year and I helped her. For games for the kids, we decided to do a pinata. It was a huge hit!  Doyle had a pinata stick in his trailer ( an old shovel handle, cut down, with electrical tape wrapped around the handle). It was perfect!!!  I laughed so hard at little Sam swinging that huge stick at that pinata!

 A good time was had by all and we can't wait to do it again next year!
