In June, I took the boys for a quick trip to the zoo.
I let them play on the playground this time:
They went down the snake slide.
They turned into turtles...
They hatched from an egg...
They played with a spider...
(this thing creeped me out)
And Stevie tried out a spider web.
They also like the bronze statues that are around the zoo.
Another treat on this trip, was riding on the carousel, which we don't usually do. Sam wanted to ride on a zebra,
and after much consideration, Steven picked to ride on the Anteater!
The carousel was super fun and definitely a favorite, until it ended and we had to drag Sam off kicking and screaming...
When we got to the zoo, we discovered that they were doing the Zoorasic park thing, so there were animatronic dinosaur statues throughout the zoo. The boys LOVED this!
They got to sit on a dinosaur...
They got a little nervous around this T-rex. He was pretty big and his growling was a little scary.
This shot is to show how big the statue is compared to the boys.
And now let's have a closer look at those boys...
Yes, those are my boys fighting in public...
Luckily the whole trip wasn't like this. Just a tiny fight here and there.
