Wishing for spring...

Here in our house, we are doing pretty well. Matt had a little crisis a couple weeks ago with his phone. His new phone that he got around thanksgiving, fell and broke. It would receive calls but the screen was messed up, so he couldn't read it and never knew who was calling. So he started using his old phone. That worked for a while, but then the old phone fell in a slushy puddle and stopped working. So he finally got things worked out with the phone people, and they sent him a new phone. Any of you who know Matt, know how hard all of this was for him. He likes his little gadgets and he likes them to be working. Steven is in full learning-to-talk mode. He has started trying to repeat just about anything I say. The catch is, he only does this when it's just the two of us. If anyone else is around, he's super quiet little shy guy. He has decided his new favorite thing is to sit on Matt's lap at the computer and "help" him. Matt gives him an old mouse and our wrist pad and he will sit there forever playing. As for myself, I am just doing the usual mom/wife stuff. Nothing very exciting on my end, although I did get really ambitious and bake cookies and cupcakes for valentines day. We ate most of them. They were delicious. Brandon is getting a serious case of cabin fever. He doesn't get to go on very long walks in the winter because it is just too cold. So he gets really bored and antsy. This causes him to be a super brat. It probably doesn't help that Steven follows him around the house hanging on him, pulling his ears, and hitting him with toys. If we only had a yard so he could go outside on his own and enjoy nature... Also he is getting even fatter than he already was, if that's possible.
