4th of July Celebration

We went to Logan's fireworks show while we were there for the weekend. We usually try to go every year. It's a lot of fun to sit around and watch the people fill up the stadium. I was glad that we had gone to some fireworks the week before in Herriman so we knew what to expect from the boys. Here are a few highlights:

Here is the group. We are still sitting in the sun at this point, but it gets shady pretty quickly. If we spend a little time in the sun, we get our choice of seats. That way, we don't have to fight the crowds.

The firemen are always there gathering money for MDA. Steven was excited to put some money in the boot. He also had a lot of fun with the stickers they gave him.

Sammy was excited to be there. He loves the fireworks.

Since we knew that Steven didn't like the banging of the fireworks, we tried some earplugs this time around. They worked pretty well, they were just a little too big so they didn't stay in as well as we would have liked.

A couple of shots from the show.

Steven playing with some pieces of firework after it was over. This was the first year the we have had pieces of ash fall on us in the stadium. A storm was rolling in, so the wind was blowing in our direction. Still, it was a lot of fun and we had a blast. Thanks mom and dad for letting us tag along!
