This last weekend we got invited to go camping with our friends Evan and Melanie. We were excited to go with them and to have a chance to go camping. It was really fun, but it was really COLD!! We went up to the spruces campground in Big Cottonwood Canyon for Friday night and Saturday morning. I had never been camping there before and I loved it! We had tinfoil dinners on Friday night, and made pancakes on Saturday morning. It was great to be able to just sit around the fire and chat. We also roasted lots of marshmallows and made smores! Steven had a lot of fun wandering around the campsite playing with sticks and feeding the squirrels. Samuel is a real trooper when it comes to camping. Overall, despite the cold, we had a lot of fun!
