On our way home from camping this last weekend, we stopped for a hike. It's a good thing we have good friends like Evan and Melanie to show us where all the great stuff is to see in the mountains around here. We aren't very familiar with this area. We decided to hike to Donut Falls because it was close to where we were camping and it was pretty short. It was Steven's first hike, and he did really well! He hiked the entire way up to the falls, and partway back down. Then he got tired and got a piggy back ride from Daddy. It was fun to see some new things and see Steven discover things in nature. Samuel slept for most of the hike. A big Thank-you to Evan and Melanie for carrying him! It was a really pretty and fairly simple hike. It only took us a couple of hours to hike it! The only drawback was that there were a ton of people also hiking that trail that day. I guess that's what we get for going hiking on a beautiful Saturday afternoon!
