Steven riding bikes with Uncle Brian. There is always lots of bike riding in circles around the pavilion.
This is about as far as we could get Steven to go out in the water. He is pretty content to stay on the beach and play in the sand. Although, this year he did kneel in the edge of the water and throw shovelfuls of the lake around.
Sam is our water baby. The first time we took him out in the water, he didn't like it because it was cold. But after a few minutes, he was loving it and wading out as far as we would let him.
Steven had lots of fun blowing bubbles. these big bubble wands from target's dollar bins are awesome! The boys loved them!
Sam eating an ice cream cone. When we camp with people who have trailers, we get to have ice cream while camping. A major perk!
Ok, The below pictures need a little explanation. Nate had to have knee surgery, so he was kind of limited in what he could do. He couldn't swim, or run around much. So the boys brought their x-box and a t.v. so they could play and then Nate wouldn't get bored. The first night, they set up out on the picnic table in the middle of camp. The next night, they got a little smarter and found a place that was out of the cold, and where the entire campground couldn't hear them.
That is a yellow extension cord running up the side of the camping trailer and into the window of our minivan...
They moved around the seats of the minivan and set up the t.v and x-box so they could sit in there out of the wind and play to their hearts content. The only drawback was that they all had to cram on the same seat
And when it was time to go to bed, they could leave it all set up , and get right back to the game the next morning!
It was a great trip to cap off the camping season for the year. Can't wait til next year!
