At the beginning of November, Steven earned a trip to the zoo. We invited Ali, my sis-in law, to come along and bring her kiddos. Her oldest wasn't there, but her other two were able to come. It was lots of fun! We had tried to make it in time to see nature's Nightmares (we wanted to see the bats flying over our heads) but we were too busy with Halloween and the wedding. I am glad we went on the day we did though! It turned out to be a really warm day! Here are some highlights from our trip:
The boys playing in the world fountain right inside the front gate. They all loved this and it was good that it was warm because they got pretty wet!
Sammy can play and still be contained...
Ali's sweet girl! Isn't she the cutest ever!?
Ali and the kids posing with the rhino statue.
We brought lunchables with us and took a break to eat lunch.
After Lunch, we went to look at the baby elephant. The zookeepers were just switching the Rhino's and the elephants in the habitat so they could feed them. We got to see the baby up close, and then we got to go and watch the rhino's eat up close too!
The boy's loved the baby elephant!
Here they are looking at the baby crocodile.

Being monkeys!
Another little monkey
At the end, right before we left, we rode the train. Steven was super excited about this! We all loved it!
It's nice to live closer to the zoo! We should go more often than we do though...
Thanks Ali for coming with us!
